how do you draw like this?
sorry.. I'm feeling stupid these days.
What? :D I don't really understand the question. I mean, this is my friend Joel, we were in a hammock and then I opened up my sketchbook and started sketching him. If you have a more specific question I can try answer :)
hahahaha
I guess it did sound kinda stupid
I just wondered how one can get better at sketching portraits
but I'm gonna say that's a stupid question also.. I presume practise.
However, are there any particular things one should be aware of about this type of portrait sketching?
Well, if you want to "get it right" as in capture the likeness of someone you just have to keep measuring their features(how far apart are the eyes from each other etc.). The only practical advice I have is to start somewhere in the middle of the face(I usually begin with the nostrils and the angle of the nose) so then you don't have to try fitting things in a constraint space. And yes, practice.
